Tratamiento de la hipertensión arterial con auriculoterapia y fitoterapia

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio prospectivo, longitudinal y de intervención en 34 pacientes con diagnóstico de hipertensión arterial, del Consultorio del Médico de Familia (CMF) 3, perteneciente al Policlínico Universitario “Romárico Oro Peña”, del municipio de Puerto Padre,  Provincia de Las Tunas, en el periodo de septiembre de 2010 a mayo de 2011; con el objetivo de evaluar la efectividad de la auriculoterapia y fitoterapia en dichos pacientes. El universo estuvo constituido por 71 pacientes con este diagnóstico, la muestra fue compuesta por 34 pacientes con hipertensión ligera y moderada. El grupo de edades de mayor incidencia  fue de 56-65 años de edad y el sexo que más incidió fue el femenino, existieron efectos adversos en dos pacientes, el tratamiento resultó efectivo y más económico.
