Abstract

Se realizó una revisión minuciosa sobre las diferentes alteraciones estéticas de las mamas y sus causas, teniendo en cuenta las etapas de desarrollo de la glándula mamaria. Se aborda la repercusión física, psicológica, social y económica sobre las féminas. A continuación se describen las diferentes técnicas de Mastoplastia Reductiva, utilizadas a través de la historia en el mundo, en Cuba y en el servicio de Cirugía Plástica de Las Tunas. Se enfatiza en el uso de la mínima incisión para lograr, en la medida  posible, una mama bella.
