Traumatic lesions are a health problem in the child population; from them, dental avulsions are the most serious ones. Success or failure of the treatment depends on its proper management. This is a case of a patient who underwent the reimplantation of an avulsed tooth, and its evolution during ten years. The reimplantation of the right upper incisor to a nine-year-old child, who came to the dentist’s office in April, 2005, 15 minutes after his tooth avulsion, is described. Clinical and radiographic controls after seven and fifteen days were made, then every three months up to complete the year, from which annual follow-ups were performed to the present. Reimplantation allowed the tooth to be preserved with vitality, so the patient recovered his aesthetics and dental function. The therapeutic procedure was a success; the proper clinical management and patient’s attitude allowed the result.
